DREAM DEBUT ad DEADLY DEFENSE!!!!
A fantastic, well-taken goal by Vinay on his debut for SECFC gives Spartans a brilliant win. It was strike that Raghu would have been proud of... :-)
The defense which has been shabby at best stood its ground and recorded SEC"FC's very first CLEAN-SHEET. The Vikings, even though had a couple of really good chances, could not score and handed an well-fought victory and with it a clean-sheet.
An inspired performance by JK and Manju on the flanks kept the Vikings' defense busy, while Aditya, Manas and Mayank Pandey held the fort together at the other end. Tushar also made a winning debut for SECFC playing for the Spartans.
Vijay failed to inspire his team in a comeback and Arvind was usually knocked down with a couple of heavy tackles. Another debut for SECFC was Tiwari's friend, Puru. yegnesh and Vinod defended well, but the damage had already been done with an early goal weighing on their minds.
